As Promised

A few pictures then from the wonderful world of skiing. Only a few from a whole host of pictures I have taken!

Skiing today was fun. Me and my brothers got filmed doing lots of jumps and off piste stuff. I have some of them. Also I stacked it big time! I was trying to be too clever and cocky, was fun though!

Legs are killing me now. We have done four days straight skiing and of corse dancing at night!!

Well must run. Only four more days out here :( I think we are only skiing for another two.

O well.

Happy Sunday!

Hello there! I haven't blogged via a computer for a little while. Kind of strange, but true!

Today what a day! I felt so happy all this afternoon and this evening. Which is why i had to tell the world, and why im blaggin properly. We went to Shorne Wood Country park. Very nice. I had a great little pack lunch it was: baguette with ham and cheese, twiglets, skittles, pork pie all washed down with a nice bottle of mini rose! Lovely. We had a nice Autumn walk. The colours were amazing. See:

My lunch:
Our little adventure crew (my fellow happy people):

Amazing:

I don't know why i was happy! But it was brilliant. Even getting to the car and realising i had lost me keys couldn't stop me smiling! Me & Cec had five minutes to run and get them. The gates closed at five! A nice little adventure. Anyways I loved everything i was doing. I even came home so happy i did some cleaning. We then had a lovely curry cooked by the Saffa. Me, Mark and Sarah then watched American Beauty. Cec came back at the end. I am still very happy now, and just positive about everything! Its great when days are like this, especially Sundays! :D

This morning didnt go to church. Played football. Helped out a friends team. Played centre back. O yes! Sort of John Terry role! Not many people know this but I actually grew up playing in that position and played for Gravesham and Kent at Centre Back. I felt right and home.

More fireyworks tomorrow yip. I think the same crew as today are going. Maybe with a little slice of louisarse added.

Anyways im off to bed with a smile on my face. Its been a wickass day! :D

The heavens are blazing

Life to Laminin

Ok sit tight. Here possibly comes my biggest post ever, (Well we shall see
how it goes!)

Work today is dull. Hence the blogging. Claire wants you to know she is
still close to suicide and in her own words "The End Is Near". Watch this
space I suppose :S

There are a couple of things that get me through a working day. One is
winding people up, Two is looking forward to future events. I don't think I
should concentrate too much on winding people up. I tried earlier and one
of the Business Support ladies, Anne, wanted to fight me. We'll leave that!
So onto things I am looking forward to. Please find below a nice list of
such things:

* Going home today
* Going home and seeing Dyvia (my pumpkin).
* Having a bath tonight - its mainly because i smell, but tis also
relaxing!
* Revolution Bar Friday
* I've started eating a cake, i am looking forward to finishing it!
* Football on Saturday (Ahem) Maybe.
* Firework party Saturday night.
* Followed by Jo Stevens 18th. Again. Maybe.
* Monday - fireworks night
* Tuesday - Grilling & Bonfire at homiesgroup.
* I still haven't guessed the phobia for today.

I am quite upset that flickr/blogger/whatever only allows you to post to
your blog, via email, if you attach a picture. So I always have to think of
random pictures...However the picture above is the structure of a
glycoprotein called Laminin. I do so badly want to tell you about this
little molecule. I discovered this about 3 months ago. 'Laminin is an
integral part of the structural scaffolding of basement membranes in almost
every tissue'. So basically Laminin holds together all the cells in our
body and almost 'everything'. Laminin is our biological "glue" holding us
together. Now the exciting part. Is it a coincidence that the shape of this
molecule is a cross? I think not. So it could be said " A cross holds
everything together in our bodies". Now let me remind you what Paul said in
Colossians 1v17 "He is before all things, and in him all things hold
together." I personally think this is incredible. I also just found out
today the scientific abbreviation of laminin is "Lamb2". Amazing!! I hope
you catch what excites me!

Onwards. I have finished my cake and it was yum yum (what a pun - because
the name of the cake was a yum yum!) So yeh anyways.

I have guessed the phobia for today! It was fear of getting undressed in
front of people - DISHABILLOPHOBIA.

This had better post through from my email. Or this is a terribly big waste
of time. I have now been writing this on and off for an hour!

Promises from God. This is another thing I must pull out of my head and
slap across the paper. Hoping it will stretch out and make sense. I think
this, however, is for another post. But it is causing me some frustration
as try and think about it. Anyways that, like i said, is for another time.

I think i may stop blaggin now! Well done if you have managed to read until
now! I am very pleased you have reached this far as I now have something
important to say. And that is:

"Its a shame, Its a shame, Its a shame"

Went to David Ford last night at shepherd Bush Empire. Toby, El, Cec & Saffa too. It was off the chain (Tobiwan™). Here is some pictorrrres:

Think i experienced what Ford was trying to get at in 'State of the Union'. Yesterday I hated people. More specifically referees and drivers.

I got sent off at football today
twice. Once in the game for arguing about a punch that was thrown and after the game for squirting water at the ref. The second one OK. First? What a dick. It came to me as we were driving to see David Ford that refereeing is hard. You get a lot of stick. That means anyone who has a brain won't do it. That just leaves the beautiful game with idiots. It's a shame.

A Quiet One + Answers to our mornings!

Me, Toby and Marky went for a quiet one this evening. Our venue: Manor Farm Barn; Our Mission: To talk; The winner for an easy night: Mark didn't get a round in; General winner: Your mum (she seemed to pop into our evening quite a bit!).

Talked about some cricket, some musical blag and yes! Nice though, and bumped into some very "suspect" looking Christians! ha.

So what have we learnt from this evening: 1) Well cricket is not cheap! 2) But does sound like a winner for next summer. 3) Music is complicated. 4) Toby and Mark like each others mums! ALOT! 5) Musicians are better performance-wise or musically. 6) There is a debate about Art .v. Entertainment. 7) Music can be translated into footballing terms for people like me! :)

Anyways today at work was ok. Claire left me early as she has a practice tonight with Jesse Markee. Wicked opportunity. Which reminds me!
Listen to this. Me and Claire started praying in the mornings before work because we were desperate for some answers. First week we just asked God for some hope and encouragement because didnt have any. That was answered with hope and encouragement - we both got similar pictures. Second week prayed again for some direction with our future and more hope. Answered with a picture about our directions and more pictures and words about hope. So far so Good! Third week prayed specifically for me to have a job and something soon because my contract was due to run out 19th October! And Claire wanted some ideas because she was getting a performance CV together. This was answered by news that my work (against all odds) wanted to offer me a permanent job and with a promotion and in December a massive pay rise! Claire by the end of the week had someone do her CV for her and it looked amazing. Right this is getting seriously good now! - fourth week. Mark jumped on board. We prayed again exactly what we wanted. Mark would get into BIMM and he would have some direction about his future. Claire wanted some actual opportunities come up performance related and we prayed about her sending out her CV to agencies. Answers for that week was Mark got into BIMM! Claire was asked to practice with Jesse Markee's band and she sent off a CV to two musical theatre agents. One rang her up the next day and liked her and asked for a demo of her voice! The fifth prayer morning is tomorrow and I'm scared what to ask for! God has been AMAZING and has answered and honoured everything we have asked for.

I know when i read that back a few months/year down the line i won't forget how good God was to us during this period!

On the way home from the pub i wanted to go David Ford poster "hunting", which really means putting them up all over the place. However mark wasn't in a similar boyish/adventure mood so i just made a little David Ford arrangement on our wall:

Wow my longest post yet! I'm impressed if you have even read this!

Adios.
